- How does reply detection work?
We use specialized mail handling that monitors for responses to our simulation emails. It safely captures the reply content and flags the user without alerting external attackers.
- Do I need to install anything?
No. empowsec is entirely cloud-based. You only need to whitelist our sending IP addresses and domains in your email gateway (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace) to ensure delivery.
- Can I customize the phishing templates?
Yes. We provide a rich library of templates (Microsoft, Amazon, DHL, etc.), but you can clone and edit any of them or build your own from scratch using our HTML editor.
- How often should I run simulations?
We recommend quarterly simulations. Consistency is key to changing behavior. Our 'Smart Scheduling' feature can randomize delivery so employees don't expect it at the same time.
- What happens if I exceed my user limit?
We won't stop your campaigns. We'll simply alert you that you've exceeded your license count and give you a grace period. Additional seats are charged on a true-up basis.
- How difficult is it to onboard all of my employees?
empowsec supports SSO implementations (Microsoft Azure, Google Workplaces, OKTA) which will automatically onboard users when they first login. Individual and bulk loading via spreadsheets is also available.
- Do you offer a free trial?
We have a 14 day free trial for all new companies which enables them to test empowsec without limitations or commitments.
- What security awareness aspects does your video training content cover?
Our video library covers critical topics for the modern workforce, including identifying phishing indicators, social engineering defense, password hygiene, safe remote working practices, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
- What is your cancellation policy?
All plans run one year from when they are purchased and can be cancelled at anytime. Plans cancelled before their renewal date can continued to be used and accessed until expiration. We also offer a 14-day no commitment free trial.
